The  ‘PAY MY BILLS’ magazine focusing on educating, promoting and celebrating what it is to be from Nottingham as a part of the working class youth. Within this project I looked into the negative stigma and stereotypes surrounding the working class representation, as well as the appropriation that this demographic receives. This is an eye opener to how the dress up theory is used in order to appropriate, receive entitlement and escape. Consisting mainly of strategies that shift the representation of the working class in Nottingham, this project has been made to re-evaluate the youths mindset and desire to ‘fit in’ and shift their identity in order to conform.
